Message from the Chairman - Vacancy for Branch Treasurer

Thursday 29 August 2019

Dear East Lancs CAMRA Member,
As some of you may be aware, five months ago we began a review of the Branch’s financial practices. We were looking for ways to streamline our processes while bringing us more in line with CAMRA’s national guidance.
As part of the process we were required to accept the resignation of our current Treasurer. As a result of this we have to ask the members, yourselves, to help us find an interim Treasurer until the AGM in February.
While this is certainly a problem I feel it best to look at this as an opportunity. If you are interested in helping fill the position can you please arrange a “proposer” and a “seconder” (someone to put your name forward and support) to contact ku.gro.armac.scnaltsae@riahcflesym before the 5th September, when we will have a special committee meeting to discuss the issue.
We would prefer it if your nominations came from either existing, or previous members of the Branch committee in good standing.
If you are interested, but want more information again please email me ku.gro.armac.scnaltsae@riahc() and I will do what I can.
Thank you for your time
Thomas Fishwick Chair East Lancs CAMRA
