Dear East Lancs CAMRA member,

Unfortunately I have some very sad news for you, as Allan Seymour, one of our Rossendale members, died suddenly on 29th March. Allan was a lovely man who had been a member for many years and along with his wife Pam was always keen to help out with beer festivals and other CAMRA events.

Regrettably only ten people will be allowed to attend Allan’s funeral, which is at 2pm next Tuesday, 14th April. If you’d like to remember Allan we suggest you raise a glass (preferably with a handle, as Allan always used one) at about 2.15pm next Tuesday.

East Lancs CAMRA would like to send Pam our very best wishes at what must be a very difficult time.

At some point in the hopefully not too distant future we will organise a wake to celebrate Allan’s life.
