Pubs reopening roadmap announced
These are the earliest date pubs can reopen (with the usual social distancing restrictions, 2 metres apart, wearing a mask etc.)
If the easing of covid restrictions results in a spike of cases then these dates can be put back. Let’s hope not.
Pubs can reopen for outdoor service only (Hope the weather holds)
Book your table in the beer garden, marquee or similar to avoid disappointment as it will be busy. Unlike a previous lockdown there will be no requirement to have a “substantial meal”. The “rule of six” will still apply. Friends or family can to meet up but not exceed two households.
Pubs can reopen for indoor service
The “rule of six” will still apply with a maximum of two households allowed to meet both indoors and outdoors.
All restrictions lifted
Fingers crossed everything has gone well during the reopening period and life is back to normal. Indoor and outdoor you can meet whoever you like (or even those you don’t).
