DECEMBER 2021

Pendle

Unbound Brewery’s Nocturnal, a 6.8% Oatmeal Stout, was a GOLD winner at the SIBA Bottle & Can Beer Independent Beer Awards 2021 North West region. A proud Fraser Lowrey with the certificate which is a great result as the brewery only started brewing in February 2021.

NOVEMBER 2021

Blackburn with Darwen

The Foundry Tap & Kitchen will open in spring 2022 on the site of the Oyster & Otter in Blackburn which closed when the Seafood Pub Company went into administration in June 2020 due to the effects of the covid lockdown.

OCTOBER 2021

Pendle

Well done to the "Berni" and the team at Rolls Royce Leisure in Barnoldswick, who are the Pendle Club of the Year 2020 (delayed presentation)

SEPTEMBER 2021

CAMRA awarded the Swan with Two Necks in Pendleton, with a CAMRA 50th Golden Award.

As part of its anniversary celebrations throughout 2021, CAMRA is recognising people, groups of people or businesses that have made a significant contribution to CAMRA’s aims, helping us get to where we are today.

The SWTN is being recognised for being a long-standing CAMRA national award-winning pub, and consistently pouring great pints. The pub won CAMRA’s National Pub of the Year award in 2014, and is popular with locals and visitors alike.

Owners Steve and Christine Dilworth said: “What a great surprise. We are proud and honoured to be a recipient of the CAMRA 50th Golden Awards. A fantastic achievement for everyone involved at the Swan with Two Necks. This also coincides with Steve’s 50 years working in the trade. Talking to his barrels pays off!”

John Ingham on behalf of the branch, presented a glass tankard to Steve to mark his contribution over many many years of suppling outstanding real ale.

Pendle

The Oakham Group based in Hertfordshire has acquired both the Alma Inn in Laneshawbridge, and Forest in Fence, which were previously part of the Seafood Pub Company which went in to administration in June 2020.
