East Lancs CAMRA Branch AGM: 2025
Mark the date in your diaries and join us for your chance to review the activities of the Branch over the last 12 months and find out what is planned for the next 12!
An agenda and a list of motions will be circulated prior to the AGM, however if anyone has anything they’d like to add please contact John Webster ku.gro.armac.scnaltsae@riahc or Alan Cottam ku.gro.armac.scnaltsae@yraterces by the middle of February for consideration.
Interested in joining the Branch Committee or taking on one of the various other branch roles? Take a look on the Branch Contacts page for a list of vacant roles. Please contact John or Alan on the above email addresses for more information.
Please note if you decide to stand for a position, you will need to arrange a “proposer” and a “seconder” (someone to put your name forward and another to support it). Nominations may be accepted at the AGM, if supported by the majority. Role descriptions can be found on the Branch Contacts page.
Thank you for your continued support and campaigning for real ale, real cider & perry, and the great British pub.
Cheers!

Hi East Lancs CAMRA member,
Notification of CAMRA East Lancashire Annual General Meeting
The Branch AGM is being held on Tuesday 4th March at the BRIDGE BIER HUIS 7.00pm for a 7:30pm start.
We are so pleased that the Bridge (a multi award winning pub in the heart of Burnley) is opening especially for us and has an amazing range of cask, keg and bottled beers.
As a member of East Lancashire, you are warmly invited to attend and vote in the AGM. The AGM's formal business is where we hear reports from Branch Officers, receive, approve the Branch Accounts and appoint members to the Branch committee.
Last years minutes are here and the agenda for this year is here .
If you are able, please bring a printed copy for your own records.
There will be a few spare copies available on the day.
We look forward to welcoming members new and old.
Whilst the content of the meeting may look quite formal, it’s a good opportunity to hear directly from the committee about how your branch is being run on your behalf.
All committee roles contribute to the success of the Branch and any branch member can put themselves forward for election. There are a range of core and other roles, to suit people's experience, interests and availability. Training and assistance is provided by other volunteers and CAMRA staff.
I would be happy to discuss these opportunities with anyone who is interested. You can view all Branch roles here.
Please support the future success for all the members of your local CAMRA Branch.
I look forward to seeing you at the AGM.
John Webster
Branch Chair
