East Lancs CAMRA turns 50!

Earlier this year long standing chairman John Sandiford brought it to the committees attention the inaugural meeting of East Lancs CAMRA was held December 10th 1974 at the George Inn, Blackburn.

Sadly the George is no longer a pub however we will be having a celebration at the nearby Postal Order on Sunday 15th December from 1:30pm.

We have invited people who were at the original meeting and other guests who have been part of the real ale scene in and around the East Lancashire area over the last 50 years.

Let's hope to have as many people as possible together for this special occasion.
