  • Branch Social Monday 30 December 2019 Chorley

    For this year's Christmas Turkey Trot we're off to Chorley meeting at the Malt and Hops where we're hoping to leave by 2:30ish.

    Peter Clegg has looked into the train times for us as the buses takes too long. Burnley Manchester Road 12:03, Accrington 12:12, Blackburn 12:21 arriving Preston 12:38. Change train to depart 12:55 arriving in Chorley 13:06. These times are given as a guide only.

  • Pre Pendle Beer Festival Social *UPDATED* Thursday 9 January 2020 19:30 Wallace Hartley

    Join us for an informal social evening with a choice of 2 tours of some of Colne’s finest pubs and micropubs.
    Both tours will start at around 7:30 at the Wallace Hartley (Wetherspoons) finishing off at the Northern Whisper Tap.

    Tour 1 will be visiting Duke of Lancaster (formally The Shepherds), Red Lion (Sam Smiths), The Market Tavern (Free house)
    Tour 2 will be visiting the three micropubs in Market Street: The Tapsters Promise, Boyce’s Barrel, Cask’n’Keg

    Pendle Beer Festival runs from Thursday 30 January – Saturday 1 February 2020 and is held at the Colne Muni. See for all details and how to volunteer. Please note from 2020 all volunteer’s must be have a valid CAMRA membership which will be checked when you sign up.

  • Manchester Beer & Cider Festival Thursday 23 – Saturday 25 January 2020 Manchester Central

    The North's largest celebration of beer - celebrating Northern brewing from Coast to Coast.

    Whatever your taste in beer, cider or perry, you'll find plenty of it at #MBCF20. We will have a massive selection of cask ale from Merseyside, Manchester, Yorkshire and Humberside on or Coast To Coast bar, an enlarged selection of Beers From The Wood, two 'craft' keg bars of finest UK and international keg beers, dedicated bars from some of the country's favourite breweries and a refreshed range of modern but traditional craft cider.

    CAMRA members can buy advance tickets and will receive complimentary beer tokens on entry on production of their membership card.

  • 16th Pendle Beer Festival Thursday 30 January – Saturday 1 February 2020 Muni Theatre, Colne

    Get ready to sample a huge selection of real ales and ciders, craft beer and - for the first time this year - we'll have a gin bar too!
    11.30am-11.00pm & £3.00 entry each day. CAMRA members FREE ENTRY at all times on production of a valid membership card.

  • Great British Beer Festival Winter 2020 Tuesday 4 – Saturday 8 February 2020 The New Bingley Hall, Birmingham

    Following three great years in Norwich, the Great British Beer Festival Winter is moving to Birmingham as part of its three-year rotation around the country.

    As the West Midlands is a region built on the trade and innovation of the industrial revolution, 2020’s festival will be themed “A Festival of a Thousand Trades”, celebrating industry, diversity, and creativity throughout time. This theme will define the drinks on offer, which will include a range of spirits and non-alcoholic options to accompany over 400 beers, ciders and perries that will represent the region, the wider United Kingdom, and beyond.

    Tuesday: 13:00 – 22:30 (CAMRA members and trade only before 17:00), Wednesday - Friday: 11:00 – 22:30, Saturday 11:00 – 19:00. Last entry 30 minutes before close

  • Fleetwood Beer And Cider Festival 2020 Thursday 6 – Saturday 8 February 2020 Blackpool & Flyde Branch

    The annual Fleetwood Beer and Cider Festival returns in 2020. Over 100 beers, ciders, perries, and a large selection of bottled beers from around the globe. Live music Fri and Sat evenings. More details to follow and available at . This is their 38th effort, go along and see if they've finally got it right!!!!

  • Branch AGM 2020 Tuesday 18 February 2020 19:30 Bridge Bier Huis

    Join us for your chance to review the activities of the Branch over the last 12 months and find out what is planned for the next 12!

    An agenda and a list of motions will be circulated prior to the AGM, but if anyone has any they’d like to add they can contact Thomas or Emma by the end of January for consideration.

    Several members of the committee are stepping down so this is your time to step up. A list of current and soon to be vacant positions will be circulated in due course. Anyone interested in joining the Committee, or taking on one of the various other branch roles, can you please contact Thomas and/or Emma using the email addresses ku.gro.armac.scnaltsae@riahc and ku.gro.armac.scnaltsae@yraterces respectively.

    If standing for a position please arrange a “proposer” and a “seconder” (someone to put your name forward and support) Nominations may be accepted on the night, if supported by the majority. Role descriptions can be found on the Branch Contacts page.
